Q: We’re looking to have a chandelier that hangs no more than 20 inches from the ceiling. What is the minimum height of this fixture?
A: You could remove links from the chain and use only one length of hollow rod to do 20″, I think. Mine are mounted, but I remember the rods that screw together come in about 12″ lengths.
Q: Can this be a flush mount fixture?
A: No there is another fixture identical to this one that is for flush mounting.
Q: How far does it hang down?
A: It comes with extensions to make it longer if you would like. I only used one extension and I’m pretty sure you can use no extension to have it right by the ceiling. It is hanging still land won’t be flush
Q: Can the lights be pointed down instead of up?
A: No I believe the lights only face up due to the wire setup. I don’t think it can be switched. I also don’t see where you could unscrew anything to switch the lights.
