The exterior fabric of Royal Designs Bowtie Pleated Drum Designer Lamp Shade is hand tailored silk-type shantung (except linen fabrics) and its interior fabric is off-white softback lining (black and other colored fabrics have gold lining). As for the washer, it is standard brass-finish spider fitter. You will need to use a finial to fasten shade. Bear in mind that all shades which are more than 9″ top diameter have a v-notch fitter for use on a 6″ or 8″ reflector bowl. The trim of the lampshade is top and bottom designer trim (single, double or braided) with vertical piping frame. What is more, the piping frame is heavy enough and is rust resistant metal. As for the bulbs, it is suggested to use a maximum wattage of 150 watts. When it comes to the height of the shade, it is measured by slant height from top to bottom of the lampshades’ front face.
