Q: What kinds of light bulbs can be used with this lamp? Does it use the new energy efficient bulbs?
A: Chelsie – The lamp takes bulbs that fit into a conventionally sized base. We are using a 50-100-150 3-way conventional bulb. I also screwed in a 75 watt energy efficiency bulb, which worked. I don’t know if they have 3-way high energy bulbs, but if they do, I assume that they would work as well.
Q: Where’s the on/off switch?
A: The on/off switch is underneath the light bulb, hidden under the lamp shade.
Q: Is the shade made of silk?
A: Not really sure if it’s silk, but it’s a beautiful golden smooth fabric with darker threads in it. It’s also lined in a white stretchy fabric. Its a great quality lamp that’s sturdy and worth the price. Hope that helps.
Q: Can this lamp use CFL bulbs? Where is the ON/OFF switch?
A: Elena – this lamp does use CFL bulbs, and the 3-way switch is in the usual location, on the metal housing into which the bulbs screw in.
